At the launch of Menapia Properties’ new office on Trinity Street in Wexford were the President of the Society, Andrew Nugent; Karol Jackson, Principal, Menapia Properties; and, Tom Parlon, Director General of the CIF.

President of the Society, Andrew Nugent, spoke at the recent launch of Menapia Properties’ new office in Wexford. The launch was well attended, with people from the property industry as well as the business community both locally and nationally.  Tom Parlon, Director General of the Construction Industry Federation, and Karl Fitzpatrick, President of Wexford Chamber, also spoke at the event. All three speakers focussed on the uplift in the economy. Menapia Properties was established in 1994 by Karol Jackson upon her return home to Wexford, having spent many years working with Ganly Walters in Dublin. She has now spent over 20 years building her agency and prides herself on offering personal service.
At the end of this long and tough recession, Menapia Properties  is moving into a high-profile commercial premises at Trinity Street in Wexford Town. Karol is a Fellow of the Society and the current Chairperson of the South East Region, and also sits on two professional committees and the national Council. She is passionate about instigating construction.
Karol Jackson also sits on the Board of the Private Residential Tenancies Board (PRTB) as stakeholder for the Society. As well as this she is an active member of Wexford Chamber of Commerce. Like most agents countrywide at present, the main challenge is lack of properties for sale and to let, and consequently Karol hopes that the ambitious move to her new premises, along with her professionalism and expertise, will assist both her and her clients in the years ahead.
