LionHeart is the benevolent fund for RICS members, providing support and advice to members and their families, and is an active social welfare agency. Chartered Surveyors in Ireland are entitled to access the LionHeart benevolent fund. Typically, help is given in cases of ill health, disability or unemployment, separation of families and difficulties in retirement. All of the assistance is given in total confidence and with the utmost regard for the sensitivity of each circumstance. LionHeart also runs a 24-hour helpline, which deals with personal hardship queries and offers impartial advice and information from qualified welfare advisers on a wide range of social welfare, family and financial matters.
